Forced displacement of Montes de María

The people from Montes de María got displaced by paramilitary groups more than 15 years ago. More than 12 000 farmers lost their land and are now living in poor neighborhoods, without farmland and the possibility to work. They are still waiting for the government to fulfill their promises and to provide them with the needed guarantees.
